Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

These terms apply to access to and use of pages, tutorials, terminology, download instructions, and other publicly available materials on the V2Ray Client Official Site. By continuing to browse or use this site, visitors confirm that they have read and understood these terms. If you disagree with any part of them, stop using the relevant pages and materials.

1. Content Scope and Applicability

This site provides basic introductions, platform guidance, installation steps, configuration instructions, terminology explanations, and frequently asked questions for clients such as v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG. All content is provided solely for software learning, technical research, and operational reference. It does not constitute legal advice, a commercial commitment, a network service guarantee, or professional advice for any specific use case.

The documentation is compiled from public sources and commonly used client interfaces. Differences in versions, operating systems, network conditions, and upstream project changes may cause actual menus, parameters, or results to differ from the documentation. Visitors should independently confirm whether each instruction is suitable for their current software version and environment.

2. Lawful Use Requirements

Visitors must comply with the laws, regulations, administrative requirements, network service rules, and contractual terms applicable in their location and in relevant service regions. They must not use this site's materials or related clients for unlawful purposes, infringe others' lawful rights through related technologies, compromise the security of networks or information systems, or circumvent legally established access and management requirements.

Visitors are responsible for determining whether their software configurations, node sources, subscription content, and data-handling methods are lawful and compliant. They are also responsible for their own installation, configuration, connections, distribution, and other use. This site provides operational guidance, does not participate in subscription-service transactions, and does not verify the legality, stability, or continuity of third-party network resources.

3. Third-Party Software and Open-Source Projects

The software described on this site is provided by its respective open-source projects and maintainers. v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, V2Fly, Xray, and related components have independent development, release, and maintenance processes. This site is not the developer of these projects and does not issue notices or make commitments on behalf of their maintainers.

When downloading, installing, or using third-party software, visitors must also read and comply with the applicable open-source licenses, usage instructions, and release rules. Software updates, feature changes, platform compatibility, project maintenance status, and licensing conditions are governed by the content actually published by the respective projects.

4. Limitation of Liability

This site makes reasonable efforts to organize and revise its documentation, but does not guarantee that all materials will be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for every device and environment at all times. Availability issues caused by system versions, client upgrades, configuration differences, network changes, third-party service interruptions, or visitor actions should be investigated step by step in the actual environment.

To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from the use or inability to use the relevant software, tutorials, or download instructions, including but not limited to failed configurations, connection interruptions, data loss, business downtime, device problems, or third-party disputes. Before importing, overwriting, deleting, resetting, changing routes, or adjusting system proxy settings, visitors should back up necessary configurations and important data.

This site may reference third-party project names, protocol names, or software feature information. Such references are provided solely for identification, comparison, and technical explanation. The operation, service quality, and ongoing maintenance of third-party projects are outside this site's control.

5. Intellectual Property and Use of Content

Rights to each client, core component, protocol implementation, project name, and related mark belong to their respective rights holders and are governed by the applicable open-source license or other authorization rules. This site retains all rights granted by law in its independently prepared page structure, explanatory text, and document arrangement.

Visitors may use publicly available materials from this site for personal study and reasonable quotation. When reproducing or adapting them, they must preserve technical accuracy, retain necessary risk warnings, and not imply that this site authorizes, certifies, or guarantees the reproduced content, third-party products, or commercial services. Use of open-source code and software packages must follow the license terms of the relevant projects directly.

6. Changes to These Terms and Feedback

This site may revise these terms in response to changes in page structure, documentation scope, upstream projects, or applicable laws and regulations. Updated content will be published on this page, and the update month shown at the top of the page will be changed accordingly. Continued access to this site after the terms take effect constitutes use of the relevant materials under the updated terms.

If you have questions about a specific configuration step, term, or client operation, first consult the Help Center and Getting Started. These pages explain common issues and standard operating procedures; they do not replace visitors' independent assessment of their own environment and compliance requirements.
